Welcome to the Class of 1961 Web Site
There are several things to do and see here.
The site is not comprehensive for the class of 61 or for Central High alumni but hopefully 
offers a nostalgic trip for those of us fortunate enough to have spent our high school years 
at one of the truly great high schools in the Southeast. 
We have a lot of memories there of days in a huge building that has been demolished.  
Some of the info and pictures includes classes of 1959 - 1963
So, even if your not in the class of 61, take the tour anyway. Enjoy!!

2004 Marching Band Reunion
Saturday August 14, 2004 at the school on Hwy 58.
Present from the class of 1961 were:
Garnett Fields, Gene North, Reg Smith, Joe Pickett, Andy Powers, Majorette Diane Swafford. 
Also seen were Sybil Austin ('62) and from 1960 class Raymond Kyle, Murphy Rogers, Morris McDowell. 
Plus others - probably 100+ in attendance.
