Nancy was a mid-wife in the community - Woodman, KY - Hunts and Bevins came from Meta, Ky
Joseph would sit on porch at night and read the Bible. Joe would go to Williamson, KY/WV (state line) and would bring back a few groceries. Gas company had gas rights on the property on Johns Creek and gave Joe money on the rights. Other than that money it is known only that he farmed. Could have worked at mill on Lower Elk - Woodman.
